GERD
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) happens when stomach acid rushes back into the tube that connects your mouth and stomach (esophagus) on a regular basis. Acid reflux (backwash) may irritate the lining of your esophagus. The result is that the foods start to ferment rather than being completely digested. This is the start of all subsequent digestive problems starting with the all familiar bloating to acid reflux – GERD, Irritable bowel syndrome, ulcers throughout the Gastrointestinal tract. Migraines are actually rooted in digestive impairment and the noxious gases produced are a result of this indigestion. Should a small amount of these vapors find their way into the blood stream and rise to the head, headaches and migraines result from the expansion of these gases. Most people have a tough time conceptualizing and accepting that there is a connection between their stomach activity and their headaches and/or migraines.
Due to impaired digestion, stomach contents (food, liquid, acid) leak backwards from the stomach into the esophagus. The contents destroy the ring of muscles that stops the food from going backwards. This action can irritate the esophagus, causing heartburn and other symptoms. Should this incompletely digested food proceed past the stomach into the bowels the result is intestinal bloating, irritable bowel syndrome – IBS, diarrhea, constipation etc. This occurs because the process that should have been and must be completed by the stomach is interrupted or is incomplete. The partially digested foods enter the intestines in a form that the intestines are neither designed nor ready to work with producing the start of bowel problems.
The cause of GERD is impairment of the stomach’s normal functions due to long term abuse due to bad eating habits. Acid reflux is simply another outgrowth of chronic indigestion. Many individuals suffer from acid reflux occasionally. GERD is defined as a mild acid reflux occurring at least twice a week or moderate to severe acid reflux occurring at least once a week. Most individuals can control their GERD symptoms with simple lifestyle adjustments and over-the-counter drugs. However, some patients with GERD may need harsher drugs or surgery to alleviate symptoms.
If you have any of the following symptoms on a regular basis, you should see a doctor: Heartburn — a burning sensation in the center of your chest, an awful sour taste in your mouth produced by stomach acid, and you may also have a cough or hiccups that return, a hoarse voice, foul breath or bloating, and feeling nauseous are the major symptoms of Gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Once the diagnosis has been established and medical treatment has begun, the patient might consider beginning professional Chakra Therapy to enhance and speed up recovery while providing holistic and ultimate healing.
The Manipura Chakra, or the Navel Chakra, is the region of fire that burns within us and guides our actions in our daily lives. It is the seat of power and the creator of vitality. The Manipura Chakra is blocked whenever a person consciously gives power to others, has limiting beliefs related to power, or does not take a position related to power. (One of the reasons for this may be an oppressed childhood or a submissive nature). The Manipura Chakra governs the digestion of food and gives the prana, or energy from the food, to the body. When the Manipura is imbalanced, the body is robbed of this prana and the person experiences stomach issues, weakness, and chronic tiredness, among other ailments.
When your Manipura Chakra is balanced or energized, you naturally feel full of energy, spontaneity and power, and GERD symptoms starts to improve.
Chakra Therapy is a unique technique to open the blocked Chakras in the body and treat the ailments caused by these blockages. Chakra Therapy is an alternative therapy that does not have any side effects and treats not only the disease but transforms the affected individual to find their purpose in life and face it with renewed energy and vigor.
Chakra therapy opens the Manipura Chakra and with the resulting restored energy and vitality the individual can counteract GERD symptoms with ease.
If you repeatedly swallow your anger, the stomach liquid will become highly acidic in an unconscious effort to disclose your sentiments, resulting in a burning sensation. At the same time, it causes pressure that prevents the quantity of
the subsequent meal from being digested. It also bothers you to swallow meals. Recognize that everything in life has a meaning behind it, even when you don’t realize it. Understanding it will offer you a feeling of confidence and security, allowing you to express your demands and anger (if you still have it) more freely.
